In honor of A$AP Yams, A$AP Mob finally finished the Cozy Tape project. The title of this album is Cozy Tape, Vol 1.: Friends, and there are many friends on this tape. The features start with Juicy J on “Yamborghini High” as the first feature. Throughout the album we have ONYX, Key, Skepta Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Wiz Khalifa, BJ the Chicago Kid, and more, there are a lot of friends on here. Didn’t realize there were more than I wanted to type on the album.

Stand out songs are “Yamborghini High”, “Way Hii”, “Put That on My Set”, “Telephone Calls” “Runner” “Bachelor”.

“Runner” is produced by Maaly Raw and Lil Uzi Vert jumps on it wit the energy that only he carries. Lil Uzi Vert on his drug tip and stacking money on money. I noticed he recycles some on his lyrics on different songs. We will see how much of a problem this will be later on. A$AP Ant stunts on the track too. He gets some love on through out this album, which is good because he maybe one of the low key rappers of the group.

“Bachelor” is a banger that features Lil Yachty, MadeinTYO, and Offset from Migos. These fellows brag about their single lifestyle. Being single and partying until the sun comes up the next day.

“Put That on My Set” with A$AP Rocky and Skepta put their gangbangging background to the test. Skepta is from Tottenham, England and is a British rapper. He has a lot of hype around him and has a few co-signs from other artist.

Overall, Cozy Tape, Vol 1.: Friends is fill of features and good music. This may be slept on as an album but this is an enjoyable project from the A$AP Mob crew. I give Cozy Tape, Vol 1.: Friends a 3.5 TAU symbols out of 5. I have replayed this album a few times and can’t help but to vibe to the highlight songs I mentioned before.
