If you go in thinking this is like their previous work you will be sadly disappointed. Random Access Memories (RAM) is considered a disco album but to be blunt and honest it is music overall that is the focal point of this. It does jump from Disco but still has techno roots. Overall the album is a 9/10 but was caught off guard by the non techno-ness at first. Wish someone would of warned me though. Stand out songs are “Doin it right”, the single “Get lucky”, “Giorgio by moroder” and “Touch”. This list of songs have a techno influence but some follow the flow of the album which is Disco or just the love of music overall. Now because of Daft Punk I would not be surprised if Disco came roaring back in style.

We also ate where the the famous “Rush Hour” was filmed at. The name of the resturanunt is called Foo Chow. Food there is pretty dope anyway enjoy the pictures.

The official name of the event was called “Korean Times Music Festival” and like I said earlier was at the Hollywood Bowl in California. There was a lot of people there and thinking back on it, it was crazy packed. The concert started at 6pm Arizona time, I think that is Mountain I forget, and ended around 10:30 or 11 o’clock. The place was hype and the performers gave us the best performance they could muster. The artist that was part of the show line were BEAST, YB a rock N roll group, OH JUNG HAE her music reminds me of samurai champloo, BTOB, GUCKKASTEN, BLUSH and BMK among a few others. At the end Beast showed up and killed it. While in California this was only part one of my trip.

Walking in you could just feel the shoe glory. I am still a beginner sneakerhead so this was a great event for me to see and learn more about shoes. The walkthrough was short but there was many sells and trades going on that made the experience even better. Shoes that were there were Lebron 10 cork, Kobe 8 system, Nike Air Max and of course truck loads of jordans. The shoes I just named were just on customers the feet.

Crazy amount of shoes were sold and displayed. Not going to lie few kicks I didn’t know about might have to carry a jordan card with me for now on. I saw a few Jordan 23 PE shoes The ones in the picture are Richard Hamilton and the green ones are (Sugar) Ray Allen.

The Jordan 3 below is for Andruw Jones who played for Atlanta Braves at the time 2007 when the shoe was made for him. Note the 25 on the glove on the right shoe.

This is personal for me but here is a huarache trainer, barkley CB34 Foamposites, Jordan 4 in grey and also in the cavs colorway. The shoes in the bright red and green are lebron 8s. With the Lion on the Tongue. If you noticed his new shoes don’t have that anymore.

A friend of mine invited me to this and I am amazed by it all. I am new to the shoe culture and to anyone that wants to be apart of this now is a good time. There will be shoes galore, with PE jordan’s, Foams, Lebrons, and many other shoes with different colorways.

The VIP tickets are not being sold anymore but the entry fee is only $10 for access to great collections of shoes, to be seen and brought. The name of this performance is called “The Artist is Present” which means just that, she is here. In this she simply sits in a chair for 3 months with in the time span of how long the Museum of modern art is open. To make it clearer the “Museum of Modern Art” will be showcasing “The Artist is Present” for three months. Along with her performance she also has her previous bodies of work, which can make one speechless.

The movie shows in a way a behind the scenes look at the art that she has done. From her work with her lover up until now. At one point someone talks about the difference between acting and performing. Performing is using blood and your life being at stake. Acting is using ketchup and you going home as normal at the end of the day. It is hard to say much about this movie but it is well worth a watch. It is always good to see something outside of your normal scene or lifestyle. Oh yeah James Franco is in it too.
