Mac Miller’s new album Go:od AM is a wake up call for all listener. A wake up call to find out who you are and what you can be. To start things off I am already giving this a 8.6/10. And yes, the fact that he is so underrated plays a huge part in my rating. The last official album Mac released was Watching Movies with the Sound Off, which was very much slept on even by me. So to jump from that complex album to this simplified piece of art is to be noted.

The overall album has a total of 17 tracks with 5 features whom are Chief Keef, Little Dragon, Miguel, Lil B and the always present Ab-Soul (Solo Ho). Album feels like a call of personal awakening as Miller mentions how he cut back became sober while working on this project but was still getting high from time to time. Stand out songs are Rush Hour, Two Matches, Time Flies, Weekend for a slow party song, When in Rome and Perfect Circle/God Speed which is a pretty unique two part song.

Definately glad Mac Miller came back to this stage and created a buzz. Album is worth a listen, pretty sure it will add to your life. Enjoy.
